Hard Rock Café- URS was commissioned to design/ build and install Hard Rock’s monthly game titled “Cash Dragon”. The idea was to create a visually stimulating game that would be simplistic in game play. They would simply reach into one of the 3 Dragon mouths and 1 domino that would reveal their prize.
Gunther VW- the folks at Gunther have been part of the Rabbit family since the beginning and continue to add new pieces to their incredible Automotive Gallery/Showroom using the talents of our artisans as well the Gunther custom paint team including Sonny Depalma and Jean Claude Del’ Herbe’. Some of the latest additions include an 8’ Rat Fink, 8’ Wolfie from the Kustom Kulture era and another of Volkswagen’s iconic Fast sculptures.
Miami Dolphin Stadium-we were excited to be the fabricators of their 13’ football to adorn a 24’x 44’ steel archway spanning across a 4 lane highway at Sun Life Stadium
Museum of Science and Discovery- MOSD continues to use URS to add additional elements to their existing interactive exhibits as well as new ones. Latest project are scale replica cockpits of new and classic planes/jets that were outfitted by MOSD with Hi-Tech interactive simulators. In the Go Green exhibit we added a 2 sided interactive recycle truck cab for the kids to play in.
Junior Achievement – contracted by Expressive Design Inc. and J.A. Cummings to design/build a construction themed interactive learning area. The goal was to create an area for children to be educated in the construction industry and career opportunities using 3 dimensional creations (back hoe, front end loader, beams, bricks etc.) as well as digital mural work. The area also included many other media of learning and technology.
Ron Jon’s Surf Shop- URS was brought on to restore the 10x time World Champion Surfer Kelley Slater sculpture that rests at the Cocoa Beach flagship storefront.
Poet Productions- contracted through the talented team at Poet we were brought on to create an Ancient Malaysian inspired stage set including a 10’ tall faux limestone head for Cirque du Soleil. The Cirque du Soleil/Eclipse show is scheduled to perform 3 days a week for the next 5 years using our stage set.
Star Wars Room- again working with our friends at Expressive Design Inc. we were asked to create a twin Y-Wing Fighter jet bed with all the bells and LEDs to appear that it would be flying through the room at an angle. We also created all galactic digital mural work, Yoda, Death Star relief etc. the Y- Wing even has an R2-D2 droid attached.
Super Bowl 44- Designed and fabricated multiple high impact table top POS displays for retail stores in South Florida. Some of the 3 dimensional included Coors light Silver Bullet Train and Rockies, Football stadium façade, South Beach/A1A scene etc...
Lords of South Beach- newly opened hotel in South Beach Miami opened its doors displaying our 10 ½’ tall polar bear sculpture as well floor lamps, cocktail table and Skull Sconces (each skull has 2,200 hand applied crystal stones)
Sixth Star Entertainment- sixth star asked URS to create 2 30’ Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitars to be mounted to Hard Rock Café’s Yacht in this year’s Winter Fest Boat Parade. Both guitars have LEDs for strings as well as throughout the yacht.
