Unique Rabbit Studios is proud to announce its participation again this year at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2008 in Orlando, Florida (November 17th – 21st). Approximately 25,000 people from 85 countries will attend the IAAPA Expo and view more than 1,200 exhibitors showcasing a large variety of products and services for the attractions industry. IAAPA is the premier trade association for the attractions industry worldwide.
As a key participant in the IAAPA Expo, URS has designed a wildly imaginative booth display showcasing our creativity, craftsmanship, mechanical ingenuity and extreme attention to detail across a range of incorporated materials and design formats. If you can visit us at the show, look for our truly unique robo-rabbit standing several ear lengths above the crowd at booth 3260.

URS, in conjunction with affiliate Architectural Foam Supply, Inc. (AFS), delivers custom designed, fabricated and hand finished elements for the redesigned storefront of The Museum of Dinosaurs and Ancient Cultures™ of Cocoa Beach. Themed displays from URS include uniquely designed, custom fabricated and intricately detailed Tuthmosis III sphinx relief, King Ramses II sculptures, imposing (over 14’ tall) dinosaur bone replicas and massive Royal Egyptian Palm Columns. For its part, AFS was responsible for the design and manufacture of all other foam architectural enhancements for the storefront.
Founded in 1995 as The Dinosaur Store™, and recently renamed as The Museum of Dinosaurs and Ancient Cultures™, this establishment markets and sells museum quality dinosaur skeletons and fossils, as well as other ancient cultural artifacts and replicas. Owners Steve and Donna Cayer turned to URS and AFS to reimage and reposition their business from a store to a tourist destination.

Inspired by staff at international fashion house, Liz Claiborne Inc., URS designs and fabricates massive, intricately detailed, scrolled leaf, colonial style corbel for installation at Liz Claiborne flagship store in NYC.

Jim Meckley, Founder of Scenic City Design of Cleveland, Tennessee, joins forces with URS. Upcoming projects include another T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney Orlando, The Dino-Store in Cocoa Beach, Hope Church - Springfield, Illinois and continued working relationship with Dadonna Studios.

December 2007
AFS completes a very high profile job with the city of “Miami Beach art deco district” when we recreated a twenty foot relief carving (historical landmark) for the side of the Fountain Blue Hotel Miami Beach.
November 2007
AFS exhibits its props & theming division at the IAPPA Show, Orlando Convention Center.
January 2007
Employee Shane Mitchell is promoted to Production Manager of the props & themeing division of AFS.
June 2006
AFS completes a joint project with local company Dadonna Studios. The project was an 45’ octopus for the T-Rex Cafe in Kansas City, MO.

AFS acquires a second 4 axis router as the demand increases. Early projects include work for the Miami Heat, Café Iguana and Wonka Factory at Wannado City.
